Another of the five houses built on Blake Road in 1930 and 1931 by the architect/builder team of Royal Barry Wills and Maurice Dunlavy, #65 was the home of Appleton and Esther Packard. Appleton Packard, who was retired at the time he moved to Blake Road, had been a naval architect, engineer, and professor of physics at MIT and elswhere. He died in 1948. The Packards had two sons and a daughter, all adults at the time the family lived here. They were listed in the Street List from 1932 to 1938.

The next owners of this house were Harry and Sarah Cooper, who moved here from another Blake Park house at 26 Welland Road. Harry Cooper was a Russian-born wool merchant who came to the U.S. in 1893. The family lived here until 1976 or 1977.
