96 Gardner was the home of Abraham and Helen Sacks. Abraham Sacks, born in Odessa, Russia, was owner with his brothers of H. Sacks & Sons, an antique furniture shop at 62 Harvard Street in Brookline.
The Sacks, who were married in 1920, had three sons and a daughter. They were listed at this address until 1952. Helen died in 1957 and Abraham in 1969.
