Another of the many Maurice Dunlavy/Royal Barry Wills houses in Blake Park, 55 Blake Road was the home of Georgina Flattery, listed in the Street List from 1932 to 1944. She was the wife (presumably the widow by 1930) of Maurice Douglas Flattery, a lawyer and financier. (They were listed at a Brighton address in the 1920 U.S. Census). Born in England around 1876, she came to the U.S. in 1897. Her mother and father were born in Scotland and India respectively. She was listed as a boarder at 60 Park Street in the 1930 U.S. Census.
Flattery was followed at this address by Leo Gordon, a lawyer, and his mother Mary, formerly of Roxbury. The Gordon family was listed at this address until 1965.
