This house was the home initially of John and Anna Day and their family who were listed here from 1931 until the early 1950s. John Henry Day Jr. (1884-1966) was a contractor and a dealer in hardwood floors. He and his wife Anna (born c1890) had two daughters and a son (and possibly more children as well). Their oldest daughter, Frances, was listed as a teacher from 1943 to 1945.
